Pantone announced the 2015 Color of the Year, and though we weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to Radiant Orchid, we are thrilled that 2015’s Marsala is as sweet as a glass of red wine. Pantone suggests it can be thrown into a rich textile, used as an accent wall, or even landscaped across a dinner table. Marsala brings a nice element of sophistication, and in our opinion, does best as an accessory. Area rugs, small decor pieces, and dinner plates; a rich and earthy hue that we truly love (especially when it’s used as a shade of leather in a Vintage Mercedes Benz).
