For some, Valentine’s Day is about obligatory chocolates and flowers. While we would never say that these sentiments aren’t romantic or special, we like the idea of creating an evening that is a bit more memorable. With that in mind, we created an exclusive Valentine’s Day evening in Deer Valley that was the epitome of romance. One of our favorite Park City restaurants and chef’s, Riverhorse, catered the “Love” menu, and every single bite was delectable. Oysters Rockefeller, and on the Half Shell, Crusted Salmon, Chocolate Braised Buffalo Short Ribs, Duck Leg Confit, and that was just the protein. Our desert bar was adorned with chocolate fountains and delicious truffles. We enjoyed red and white wine, champagne, and amazing dinner entertainment by the Daniel Day Trio. The menu was certainly the highlight, but in terms of design, the live red roses hanging from the chandeliers set the stage. Lanterns lit up the dinner tables, and beautiful candles illuminated the entire room. It was indeed a night to remember, and it was so perfect that we overheard one of our ladies’ in red telling her partner that she wished Valentine’s Day was every Friday night. Sadly, it is an annual affair, but one that we’ve already started the count down. How’s that for memorable?
