We always love an excuse to celebrate, and the closing of our favorite John and Kelsi Mellor was no exception. They purchased 8 acres of perfection that backs up to the Swaner Preserve in Park City. The best part: we get to take the lead on the design and renovations.

We got together with some Veuve Cliequot champagne, and some Dom Perigon. John did a celebratory champagne sabrage, and we’d be lying if we said that he didn’t look pretty dreamy doing it. We also served up a beautiful red that has connected roots to our very own Park City, Parallel Wines (grown in the Napa Valley, but founded by Park City-ers).

Many cheers and glass clinks for this one, because the Mellor Ranch is going to be a beauty. We have planned gorgeous new architecture for their home and some updates to the riding stable; ‘elated’ may be the best word to describe our excitement around this new project, “euphoric” is another one. Look up any of those in a thesaurus and you’ll see the PUREfourhundred team riding stallions with a glass of champagne in hand.
