Boutique hotels have a way about them. It is their gorgeous interiors, intimate lobbies, and individualistic design that highlights the personality of the city rather than blending in with the name brand hotels that tend to feel a little too familiar. While there is a comfort to consistency, we’ve found that visiting these unique spots can quickly become the highlight of a trip and may even keep you from ever wanting to leave your hotel. Hotel Palomar in San Francisco. Ace Hotel in Portland. Hotel Shangri in Santa Monica. The Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca. Even local Salt Lake’s Hotel Monaco makes the list. That said, when we heard that Pantone created a hotel in Brussels, we knew that our PUREfourhundred readers would want to know about it.
A dream destination for designers, color lovers, or just the avid traveler who wants to add a special spot to their repertoire. If we could describe it in one word, it would probably be “HAPPY.” Look at it, and, technicolor dream about it because seriously, it is simply genius.
