THE PURE TABLE I HANDLE

We had the opportunity to host a very special edition of the PURE table at the newest, most raved about restaurants in Park City. Handle, a restaurant that takes a unique spin on American Cuisine by incorporating global flavors (presented primarily in the form of small plates), has now splashed the pages of New York Times, Salt Lake Magazine, City Weekly, and Forbes Travel, all within a few months of opening. A private dinner at this foodie hot spot? An evening with the Chef? Yes, please, and thank you.

In partnership with Vida Tequila, we shared in a cocktail hour featuring drinks made by mixers Michael Drennan (Vida Anejo, Dolin Sweet Vermouth, Lillet Blanc, Smoked Maple Syrup, Scrappy’s Aromatic Bitters), and Chris Panarelli (Vida Reposado, Lime, Grapefruit, Salt), with delectable appetizers made by award-winning Chef Briar Handly. Our guests raved about food presentation and the unsuspecting flavors and ingredients. Dinner was presented in four courses, paired with hand selected wines.  A delightful Beet Salad, savory Fried Chicken, and (still dreaming about) a perfectly prepared New York Strip Steak. For Dessert? Chex Mix. No, seriously, there was Chex Mix, but it was incorporated in combination with some vanilla bean goodness and a smidge of High West Whiskey along with a couple other components that should only be discussed in the form of a whisper (yes, it was that good.)

Thank you to Melissa Grey, Megan Nash, and Chef Briar Handly for hosting a perfectly perfect evening. Oh, and more glass clinks to our designer Rafael Alvarado who decorated the space beautifully. Five star evening, and just another reason why we love Park City.
